Thoughtless Series by S.C. Stephens

About the most epic Rockstar love stories written in history. My favorite book boyfriend. My everything about a book boyfriend shoud be.

First Book
This is how a love triangle most often presents itself - not as a mere choice between two people where no relationship is yet established, but as a choice to either stay in a relationship that just isn't working in some crucial way, or to leave that relationship and essentially abandon that person for another. The whole thing is made worse when the two possible choices are emotionally connected to each other. When that happens, no one wins, and if healing eventually occurs, there will always be scars.

There is no easy answer at this crossroads, and I have to hand it to Ms. Stephens, she's perfectly and with gut-wrenching honesty portrayed the reality of a love triangle - and the mess that ensues when bonds are severed and new ones are formed. In real life, there usually isn't a bad guy, there isn't an easy choice to make, and nothing is clear-cut. While angsty real life triangles usually doesn't include hot bad boy rock stars...Thoughtless proves itself a novel because it does: hello, Kellan.

What happens when you find your soul mate at the worst possible time, in the least expected place? What if being with that person means doing the most wrong thing you've ever done? Thoughtless is one of those books that leaves you thinking about these questions, the characters and their choices for days if not weeks after reading.

Second Book (Sequel #2)

“But, if for some reason we're not closer, if something has gotten between us, please, I'm begging you…don't give up on me. Stay. Stay with me. Work it out with me. Just don't leave me…please.” - Kellan

OMG. CRIED LIKE A BABY.
An absolute perfection.
A heart-wrenching, full of ups and downs that I even fall head over heels to Kellan! Honestly, if only he did exist in real life I would freakin combed this world for him. How I love their soul-tearing relationship with Kiera and yes I do agreed that in a relationship, love is easy but trusting is the hardest part of all. And even though most of the time I want slap Kiera on the face cause of her trust issues with Kellan, yeah I totally agree with her because Kellan is just the epitome of pure beauty of God's creation. I certainly would be worried too. But Kellan trried so hard to work on building this trust even he's thousand miles away by his surprsing sweet notes, gifts and much more. I am so in love with him that I even dream of him! (I know I'm a total geek). LOL! Hands down to S.C Stephens. Great story and I love every page of it. Every characters, every words. (Yes even Griffin's goofy-wild cringing acts) I even laughed hard to myself while reading Effortless and Thoughtless. I will patiently wait for Reckless because every single cell of my body is craving and begging for more Kellan and Kiera's story. Hell I would die for it.

Third Book (Finale)
“You’ll never know how incredible you are to me, how desperately I love you. I would do it all over again if I needed to. I’d go back to the beginning for you.”

 photo tumblr_inline_mh4213KbXY1r3i3sc_zps76a9454e.gif
I was floored with so many feelings I don't know where to start. I'm so lost for words.. This is beyond incredible. I need to process first.. I have so many things to say.

For the past two years, I've waited for this book and now that it's the final installment, I fell in love over and over again with the characters, especially to Kellan Kyle. I was there when this series started and now it feels surreal to know that this is the last sequel. I will forever miss The D-Bags. Even Griffin. He just grew up on me. He humored me since the first book! This series is just perfect.

Kiera:
Even though their relationship started with lies, innocent flirtings, and cheatings. (I was so mad at her in the first book that I wanna bitch slap her face for hurting two guys mostly Kellan). Nevertheless, I still love her because she's amazing and here in Reckless she always support Kellan in everything. She's there ALWAYS. She never leaves Kellan no matter what; through thick and thin.

“Every single day I’ll keep you with me, no matter how far from me you are”

She encourages Kellan to do what he was born for, his bandmates, ans she cares for all of them. I loved that about her. Her devotion for Kellan is so big. She's also an amazing sister too for Anna.

Kellan:
Oh God, I have so many things to say to this man. He's a fucking Rock God for pete's sakes. He's the EPITOME of Rockstars. He's the DEFINITION OF BOOK BOYFRIEND. Yes, ever since I've read Thoughtless, he's still my NUMBER ONE BOOK CRUSH EVER! And it will stay that way forever. I love everything about this man. I may even not reach the letter F if he goes down on me. That's how I worship this godman. I mean, just imagined Kellan in a cowboy hat and nothing at all, stripping on his wife's bachelorette party, priceless! He is just utterly delicious! Hotdamn.
*fanning*

My personal favorite for Kellan Kyle only.

He proves to be the best boyfriend/husband by always being 100% honest with Kiera. Faithful, loyal, and ever-loving man in the world. I love how he took care of his bandmates and career. I love how he woo us girls with his words. His words undo me, literally. I think my expectations for guys will be higher because of him. He even corrupted my dreams. This man ruined me. I am hopelessly in love with Kellan Kyle. End of.

Rest of the D-bags and friends:
I wish I can have a family just like them. All for one and one for all. And that's so inspiring and I just want to live inside this book so much! If I have a dollar every time I laugh due to Griffin's endless idiotic humors I'd be a billionaire! I thought I'd never see the day Griffin will become a wuss and changed since he knocked up Anna. He became a good father and husband. I can't believe I love him! He's the reason why this book is so funny.
“Everybody! This is my cousin right here, and he just dethroned God’s Gift to Women!”-Griffin.

S.C Stephens:
Wow! Hands down to Miss Stephens! You totally rocked my world. Without you, there will be no Kellan and D-bags and I don't know what I'll do without them. Thank you for writing the most awesome rockstar story in the history of rockstars. Thank you so much for that. I am so gonna miss them and I think I will never get over with Kellan Kyle. If I would be given a chance to re-read this series again, I will and I'll never get tired of it. You're a wonderful author and it means so much to me for sharing your awesome talent and for picturing the perfect rockstar, Kellan Kyle. You're the best. I love you! Truly.

Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover

I gotta hand my whole life to Colleen Hoover. Every one of her books made me cry and bawled like a baby and this one is no exception! Tears just keep flowing and I'm so falling in love with the story that I think I need another set of pillows from all the crying and everything.

TWO WORDS: PERFECTLY UGLY

The plot is amazing, the writing is great and I love all the characters. Especially Miles Archer. Who wouldn't love him? Colleen Hoover was right about him. Will Cooper, Dean Holder and now, Miles Archer. Damn, I want you all!

Miles Archer also did crazy stupid things to my heart:
1. He made it swoon like a 12 year old kid who had her first kiss
2. He made it flutter and skipped a beat with his passion and love he had for Rachel & later with Tate.
3. He made it break into little jagged pieces and just plain smashed it with a canon ball.
4. He made it FEEL everything he felt inside and everytime I read every single pages of this book.

Miles Archer did it all in my heart in just one sitting. I just can't stop reading it. I was "Hoovering" through out the day and I don't care! I'm a mess and still needs to shower but to hell with it cause I need to finish this and relish Miles Archer and Tate's love story! It's just that good!

And the best part of this book? TOTALLY HOT AND INTENSE!

So different from the other Colleen Hoover's books. I need to be in the Miles High Club. STAT!

Spiral of Bliss Series by Nina Lane

“You and me, professor.”

“You and me, beauty.”

10 BLISSFUL STARS!!!

Nina Lane, I'm so grateful for writing this series. I'm so happy because I'm one of the many girls who will always believe in the beauty of perfectly imperfect love.

I'm completely and utterly speechless. So loss for words because of all the emotions I'm feeling after reading this. I literally said, "F'ck, this is so beautiful" after that epilogue.

Dean & Olivia West inspires me to run towards something, to live with courage and experience love through spiral of BLISS!

A marriage that was once happy but all trembles slowly. It's about FAITH and TRUST. The emotional turmoil is unbearable! I love how the story flows.

Dean and Olivia West has turned my panties into twist!

I thought I'm going to explode because of their hot smexy lovin'! If only married couples are all like Dean and Olivia. *sigh* Anyways, I liked how the story continues involving some of their first year in a relationship, how they messed around like horny teenagers, flashbacks of their life before they met. It's really amazing how they connect those memories in their present situation. And even though marriage is tough and gets rocky, their sex is far the best allure they have. I'm head over heels in love with their relationship. *sniffs*

Professor Dean West is really a true knight in shining armor! He is so perfect. I feel like I'm floating!

HAPPILY EVER AFTER IS JUST THE BEGINNING indeed!
The lessons they have learned are amazing and makes my heart warmed with full of hope. From the intense, raw marriage, complications, insecurities, accusations, family-related problems, and all the other bad things they've been through.. They're stronger than ever and of course, Professor West's ability to make you come just by his medieval, historian words. I'm getting hot by their scorching love makin! Their passion is just mind blowin erotic!

I'll never forget those cute little notes with drawings they leave each other. It's so cute!
"I'm MUFFIN without you!"
"I PIE love you so much!"

It feels like a lifetime when I first started this series last year. This is definitely one of the many series I'll always keep in my heart.

Forever Trilogy by Sandi Lynn

 Forever Black, #1
“I could never understand my purpose in this world. I have had nothing but pain and loss my whole life. But now I know why god saved me the first time. It was so I could find you. Then he saved me the second time so I could love you forever”
 photo tumblr_lyby0bnki11qdlh0d_zps09b33fb3.gif
Me while reading this beautiful book.

This was beautifully written!
Even though I've seen many similar stories like this one, it still amazed me how Love truly conquers all. 'Beautiful' is not enough to express how AMAZING this story is.

I watched in awe on how Connor Black and Ellery Lane took every step of the way to always be together forever. I loved this book so much that I spend a lot of time sniffing, wiping tears, gushing, swooning, and basically floating for Connor's ability to melt every single women with a pulse.

“Infinity is forever, and that is what you are to me, you are my forever Mr. Black.”

Their constant words for each other is what keeps me from grabbing a tissue because I always end up crying for this stubborn couple who love each other so much. It's a heart-warming story.

“Because at some point you have to realize that some people can stay in your heart, but not in your life, and this is my way of keeping you in my heart.”

Ellery's Wrist Tattoo

Forever You, #2

“I was simply a man with no meaning until I met you, and I’m proud of whom I’ve become because of you. We’ve been through a lot together, and we will continue to go through a lot, but we’ll conquer
whatever life throws our way, together. I want to thank you for being my best friend, and my lover.”

I got down on one knee and pulled the small velvet box from my pocket. I looked up at Ellery as the tears wouldn’t stop flowing down her face.
“I want to be more than just your lover; I want to be your happily ever after, your best friend, your husband, and I want you for my wife. Will you marry me, Ellery Lane?”
Connor Black's POV from the first book with other detailed scenes that was not introduced from the first. It's one of the greatest man's POV I've read from other books. I loved feeling Connor Black's side of the story and how he views himself through out the book. I fell in love more and more to Connor! He's amazing. I can't get enough of him :)

Forever Us, #3

"Forever us baby, It'll always be forever us…"

The conclusion we've been all waiting for! The Black family sure knows how to make my heart swell!

Marriage add with a newborn is very difficult to handle and Connor and Ellery showed us how to keep their family and friends be safe and loved. There are new challenges that they need to pass and together they will fight for those who will always makes them apart. I love how amazing parents they are. It truly melts my heart. I wish someday I could have a husband like Connor Black, who will always be there to keep you safe. I'm so sad to read this ending because I will miss them. All those struggles and the sufferings they need to endure is all worth the fight! They've been through hell and worse but still they keep each other stronger.

It feels surreal to realize there will no more Connor Black who always made me cry since the first book. His love and devotion for his wife and kids are so amazing! Such a great man he is!

10 FOREVER STARS! - I will never forget this series for the rest of my life.

Fighting Redemption by Kate McCarthy

“I’ll love you longer than the stars that live in the sky.”

10 FIGHTING STARS!!! What an incredible and heart-piercing story! I LOVED IT!

This is a story about war and the cost of sacrifice. Where bonds are formed, and friendships found. Where those who are strong, fall hard. Where love is let go, heartache is born, and heroes are made. Where one man learns that the hardest fight of all, is the fight to save himself.

My casting for this book.
 photo australian-soldier_zpsbf547d27.jpg

I was really reading this in a slow manner and took me a week to finished this because I want to savor every words in it. Such a beautiful written story about Australian soldiers - fighting against all odds and to be back home safe to your loved ones. THIS IS THE BEST NEXT BOOK after "Education of Caroline" - which involves about life inside the war. I was so absorbed by the book that I googled Australia's army troops! And I CRIED AGAIN! Oh this men are so brave and I'm so proud of them.

I ugly cried a lot of times while reading this and somehow, I don't want it to end! I was so scared of what's going to happen next! My heart was literally beating wildly everytime the soldiers are being deployed in the middle of war. I was like, "Don't you dare kill this soldier!" and the worse is "Don't die in there! You have to get home to Fin!!". Yeah, I was losing it.

A story of military families on how they cope, endure, pray, and see their soldiers everytime they are being deployed, and the most beautiful feeling you get when this heroes come back in the arms of their home.

Wonder by R.J. Palacio

“Everyone in the world should get a standing ovation at least once in their life because we all overcometh the world." —Auggie

Wonder is a book where you cry in the corner and question yourself why the world is so cruel and why life has to be so unfair. I never cried so hard - literally sobbing in a book, that I actually put down it in a minute to grab my emotions because I can't read when my tears just keep on flowing - I thought my tear ducts has been severely damaged by this book.

If I could give 10 more stars for how amazing this book is. Hands down!

I wanted to kick myself for not knowing about this book for so long that I just read it today. I wanna thank my sister-friend for sharing this to me because my life has been not the same after reading this. I know that I have tons of favorite books, but I can say this is my second to the list. I love the writing style, how I got to connect with every characters in the book, how this is the first time I've read a 10 year old boy's point of view, and how every chapter in the book is like a "life changing" feeling for me. It was really written beautifully.

“She’s very pretty,” Mom said.
“Yeah, I know,” I answered. “We’re kind of like Beauty and the Beast.”
(This really made me cry harder. I dunno why but I'm just hurt of what he said in this part.)

*******************
The best part of why I love this book so much is because I didn't read the plot and just go in my gut that maybe this will be good, but I was so wrong. It's not just good or fine because once I started it, I CANT PUT IT DOWN. That's how amazing this story is. Beyond amazing!

A wonderful boy named "Auggie Pullman" - who had change so many lives because of his compassion, loyalty, unconditional love and kindness. His pure heart and witty mouth. His sense of humor and his ability to be extraordinary, when all he wants is to be ordinary. He is not just extraordinary, but I think he's blessed. Blessed with bravery and courage. I'm in awe for him.

“That’s why your deeds are like your monuments. Built with memories instead of with stone.”

A book about Kindness. Friendship. Courage. Character.

*******************
I also can't help but relate August Pullman to Bailey Sheen from Amy Harmon's "Making Faces". They are so alike in many many ways. I wish ya'll could read that book because it's truly inspiring too. "Making Faces", is actually my number one in my favorites of all time so you know how special this book is because this is my second favorite. ;-)

Anyway, I can't help but cry again while doing this review. I know I'm very emotional but this book just really punched me in the gut so many times. It's pure perfection.

Making Faces by Amy Harmon

“God has given you one face and you make yourself another.” - Hamlet”

You know when you finished a book that's so beautiful you just smile with tears running down your cheeks and you feel like someone put out the heavy weight in your heart and leaves you breathless? I felt that after I turn the last page of this book.

The words that are delivered in this book is breath taking and very deep. Very well written and I love how each characters have a meaningful purpose in this book. Each phrases, poems, biblical quotations are very powerful that it deeply crushed my heart to pieces. I was crying every chapter because it's just utterly beautiful. I learned so many things about life from this book and one of them is that being beautiful is not just from the outside but it's the way you do and show good things to people are what makes you special and beautiful.

And to Bailey Sheen. He's the hero in this book. He is the one that inspires me the most. And not because he's the super hero with supernatural powers but it's about living the most of it and encourage people to do what their heart says. His purpose for being what he is, is what makes him the hero. To think he's in that state of illness, he's the one who pushes his friends to strive harder. He never show weakness because even in the irony of his condition, he sees the beauty of the person's heart and not by how he looks and his appearance. I LOVED BAILEY SHEEN SO MUCH. He taught me greater things that makes me appreciate life more and more:
To live, Have courage, Be a good friend, and Always be grateful..

I also realize when I was flipping through the pages, that every chapter's title is about Bailey's list of things to do before he died. It's so amazing! Take a look of it yourself in the table of contents after you finished reading it.

For Fern Taylor, she is amazing in every way. I somehow find Fern in me because we're the same about romance books, always hoping that someday we will meet our favorite fictional character in real life.

“I think that's why Fern has always liked to read so much. Books allow you to be whoever you want to be, to escape yourself for a while. You know how Fern loves to read those romance novels?”

Even though at times she questions herself about how people treated her like she's fragile and ugly, she never treated others the same way they do to her. She's compassionate and caring for Bailey. She showed Ambrose what love is all about.

“You act like beauty is the only thing that makes us worthy of love, I've loved you since you quoted Hamlet like you understood him, since you said you loved Ferris wheels more than roller coasters because life shouldn't be lived at full speed, but in anticipation and appreciation…"

And for every character in this story, I love them all! The connection I felt is very real and the author did not leave them hanging. The pacing of the story is very good and I like how it includes flashbacks from the character's POV.

If I would be a movie producer, I will definitely not pass this up! It's very inspirational!

THIS IS THE GREATEST BOOK I'VE EVER READ THIS YEAR!
INFINITE BEAUTIFUL STARS!
